I am likely one of the lone holdouts that haven’t fully adapted their living space into a home office. I still spend most of the workday typing away on my couch rather than at an actual desk, and I’m currently staring down a terrifying tangle of cords and wires that should probably be better organized.
The one work-from-home essential I have invested in? A cup! Don’t laugh, I’m serious. When I found myself going for hours without drinking anything all day, I decided I needed something that would encourage me to drink more water. The solution? This S’well Tumbler Cup.

Now if you’re wondering why I just couldn’t use a regular plastic water bottle, there are actually two reasons. First, the condensation that naturally occurs on the outside of plastic bottles is too much of a danger to all the gadgets in my “workspace.” Second, what’s worse than warm water to drink? Not only does the coating on the outside of this S’well Tumbler cup mean no water droplets everywhere, but the food-grade stainless steel interior means ice-cold beverages for hours.
According to Amazon, this cup “keeps drinks cold for 17 hours.” I haven’t tested it for quite that long, but I can attest that six hours after pouring, my drinks are still cold in this insulated cup. That’s even true on hot and humid 90 degree summer days.
Amazon shoppers love this cup as much as I do. One reviewer wrote, “[It’s] perfect for daily use. I carry this guy with me all over the house. It’s great to not have to worry about cup sweat anymore.”
Another shopper added, “I’m an active cold brew coffee drinker. From someone who has tested it with hot and cold drinks, I think this does an amazing job. I think this works the best with cold drinks.”

Worth noting, some versions of the S’well Tumbler cup come with a lid while others do not. The one I purchased doesn’t have a lid, but even uncovered all day, my drinks stay nice and cold.
