THE GENERATOR IS CURRENTLY NOT ACCEPTING SUGGESTIONS. SUGGESTIONS WILL BE OPEN AGAIN AT A LATER TIME WHEN THE INBOX IS EMPTIED.

Please suggest quotes in the submissions of the blog (you can see it near the top of the page on the link that includes the words “Quote Suggestions”) and not in reblogs or comments. I can’t guarantee that I’ll find your quote if you reblog/comment it rather than submitting it in the submissions section. These guidelines can also be found there, but in less detail than here.

1) Make it understandable: If I don’t understand what you’re trying to say in the quote, I’m not going to add it. For example, an inside joke isn’t something I’ll add.

2) NSFW is allowed as long as it makes sense and isn’t excessive. If you wouldn’t send it to your friend, don’t send it to me: You can submit nsfw quotes, but do not submit needlessly vulgar quotes and/or ones don’t have any actual joke to them. I’m not going to add a quote that can be summarized in “Person A fucks Person B, lol” because that’s not funny. If you wanna make a dirty joke, that’s cool, but make sure it’s actually got a joke and isn’t just dirty. And, even if it is funny, there is a point at which it’s just too much for the kind of stuff this generator puts out (and, frankly, more than I would like to read).

3) Swears are okay, slurs are not: This hasn’t yet been an issue, but I thought I should get it out of the way anyway. Don’t submit quotes with slurs in them. The f slur (not to be confused with the word “fuck”, fuck is fine), the n word, and things like that aren’t going to be accepted for obvious reasons.

4) Don’t be a jerkward: I can’t guarantee that I’ll add your quote even if it follows all of these guidelines because the internet is a weird place and people might submit some weird really crap that I haven’t thought to say not to submit yet. If I do get something like that, I’ll probably update the guidelines, but the basics of it is to just remember that I am a human being. You are a human being. Let’s not do anything that would make either of us wonder if the other is secretly a robot in disguise or a literal troll.

5) Please submit quotes singularly (don’t make lists of them in a single submission): If you plan on submitting multiple quotes, then please separate the quotes into different submissions. This is just because processing big lists can be inconvenient for me since I have a harder time keeping track of which quotes I have gone through and which ones I haven’t.

6) Please submit quotes in the submissions section of the blog: I’ll probably still process it even if you put it in the asks, but the submissions makes formatting the quotes (and therefore transferring them to the generator) easier.
