Starting with a new, hot-dipped galvanized chassis, this impressive build was completed by our talented Team of Master Craftsmen in late August 2022. The impressive 6.2L Corvette LS3 V8 provides more-than-ample forward motivation, while the precise-shifting 6L80E 6-speed automatic transmission with PCS® push-button gear selector with LED display mated to a heavy-duty, center differential lock-equipped LT230 transfer case distributes constant power to all four wheels making certain that the generous 435+ horsepower and 445+ pound-feet of torque make it to the ground. Powerful disc brakes at all four corners ensure stops are quiet, safe, quick, and efficient.
The upgraded, heavy-duty front and rear axles are located by slightly-taller-than-stock Old Man Emu® shocks and springs, Terrafirma® caster-corrected front and cranked rear radius arms, track rod, drag link, and Terrafirma® steering damper, all protected by a heavy-duty aluminum front skid plate. It rides on bold, satin black 18-inch Kahn “1983” alloy wheels wrapped with 275/70R18 Goodyear® All-Terrain Adventure tires featuring DuPont™ Kevlar® for superior strength and unbridled traction through rain and snow.
The body, expertly finished in regal Epsom Green Metallic with matching wheel arches and trim, was carefully mated to the chassis once back from our in-house body and paint shop. The deep-tinted, flush-fitting rear side- and rear quarter-glass panels lend an air of sleek sophistication, and the black anodized Optimill® aluminum exterior door handles and door hinges, and black anodized aluminum bonnet and windscreen hinges add to the subdued color scheme. The gloss black grille, side intake, and forced-air wing top vents with wire mesh inserts pay a certain homage to its rugged heritage. The front bumper is home to twin LED running lamps, and the tubular rear step bumper accommodates a rearview camera, a 2″ hitch receiver, and jacking/recovery points. A heavy-duty, swing-away rear tire carrier neatly finishes the tail end.
Satin black, powder-coated tubular side steps assist with ingress and egress to the well-appointed passenger cabin where you’ll find Saddle Tan leather-upholstered door cards and a matching leather-upholstered, modern-style dash that provides excellent heating and air conditioning — ensuring the occupants are comfortable year-round. This 6-passenger, family-sized Station Wagon is equipped with our new rear air conditioning system nestled in the leather-wrapped front center console, providing your guests with additional cooling on those hot summer days. It’s also fitted with a storage cubby, as well as a wireless fast-charging pad for mobile devices, USB charging points, and two oversized aluminum cup holders.
The front heated sport seats are upholstered in Saddle Tan leather with square stitching, as are the two middle-row bucket seats, and the two forward-facing, stowable rear seats with matching upholstery provide the ultimate in flexibility — seating for additional friends and family or true utilitarian cargo space. Heavy-duty rubber floor mats protect the front footwells and rear cargo area, and the leather-wrapped rear center console houses a convenient storage cubby and two oversized cup holders. The front windscreen is heated for those extra-brisk mornings, and to top it all off, the headliner is slathered in Saddle Tan Alcantara.
State-of-the-art infotainment is provided by an Atoto® S8 Android-based 7” HD capacitive touch-screen head unit with wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto®, dual Bluetooth®, built-in Digital Signal Processor, and GPS navigation, nestled in a piano black center fascia and complemented by a rockin’ Rockford Fosgate® 8-speaker array coupled to a Kenwood® eXcelon® 5-channel, 1600 watt amplifier. The front and rear windows are power-operated, and the Viper® keyless entry and remote starting provide security and convenience.
