Make sure to download the Free Wedding Pocket Invitation SVG located in my forever free files. Upload the SVG file type to Design Space. If your having trouble finding the SVG type on a Windows PC, it might be displayed as a Internet HTML Doc., use that file! Watch my video if you need more help! Once inserted into your canvas, make sure it is the correct size. Design Space doesn’t upload SVG Files the correct size sometimes, so let’s make sure to resize the overall SVG Group to 5.784×10.513. See image below.
Ungroup the SVG to select each layer. Below will show you the names of each layer and the correct size for each one.
Select the 3 lines in the Pocket group. Then switch it from a basic cut to a Score Line. Then select the score line and the pocket layer and click Attach.
Now let’s work on the actual invitation! The flourishment at the top can change to any color to match your wedding’s color scheme. But make sure to choose a light color if you are going to place text over it like I am. Use the Text tool to make your first text line. You can choose your own verbiage for your invitation. I am just going to use the basic text for tutorial purposes. But you can get as detailed or personal as you like with the text. I changed my font to Adobe Caslon Pro, font size 7 and placed it over the flourishment.
Each Text Box has to be the same styled font and size. So for the next line I write the names of the couple that is to be married. I changed the font to Bentosa font size 33 and center it right under the flourishment.

Next, create another text box and write the date, time and place. Remember you can add and use what font/text you like to personalize your invitation.
Once your satisficed with your text. select all your text layers, flourishment, and white invitation layers and click Flatten! This will change it to a print and cut layer. Now you are ready to click Make It.
For your Print and Cut layer, make sure to turn on Use System Dialog. Go to the printer preferences and change the paper type if you are using specialty paper. And change the Print Quality to High. Then Print.
After the invite has been printed, align the paper edge to the edge of the mat. and cut on cardstock +. I used regular white 65lb cardstock. If you use a different type of paper make sure adjust your dial.
Here is the finished print and cut wedding invitation.

After you cut out the mat and pocket layers, fold down the pocket layer and glue them to inside of the pocket. Refer to image below. Then attach the invitation to the center of the mat with foam tape or adhesive of your choice.
Then slip the invitation inside the pocket.
