Marshall Bruce Mathers III was born on October 17, 1972, in St. Joseph city, Missouri, U.S.A. He is an American rapper, songwriter, and record producer and is professionally known as Eminem. In 1988, he formed his first group “New Jacks”, and made a self-titled demo tape with DJ Butter Fingers. Eminem got more attention from the audience when he developed Slim Shady a character that allowed him to express his anger with lyrics about drugs, rape, and murder.

Eminem published a book named Angry Blonde in the year 2000. In the same year, he was arrested for pulling out an unloaded gun and pointing it at the ground and also has had more controversies than any other singer for his music.
